Rescheduled – Early Childhood Workshop: Small Parts Create Big Imaginations
This workshop was originally scheduled for January 11 but is now scheduled for April 19.
This session looks at what learning and kindergarten readiness skills can be learned through using loose parts —materials that can be moved, carried, combined, redesigned, lined up, and taken apart and put back together in multiple ways— to develop children’s creativity and imagination. Engaging in this kind of play promotes problem solving, making choices and learning math and physical science concepts will be learned as children experiment.
Participants will have an opportunity to engage with loose parts and leave with a list of parts that can be incorporated into classrooms as well as receive 2 clock hours and a light meal.
