Meet Curious George & the Man with the Yellow Hat, then spend time with your little ones collecting leaves and getting curious about nature on a lovely fall afternoon. Register to win a KCPT Kids’ Curious George prize pack and take away activity sheets to continue the learning back at home. Remember your camera to capture the memories of a special day.

Arrive early to get your time ticket. We have 50 spots per 30-minute time periods on a first-come, first-served basis. Then stay and play or come back at your time to meet Curious George & the Man in the Yellow Hat.

This training workshop will focus heavily on developing innovative techniques attendees can use to engage hard-to-serve families and parents, while using community resources to help families meet personal needs and stabilize the household.

Participants will earn two clock hours, and food will be provided.

From Chaos to Calm:  How to Help Young  Children Manage Big Feelings – has reopened. 

*If you do not have a MOPD ID,  go to OPEN Initiative to receive one.  If you do not need one or you are a provider from Kansas  just place a 1 in the blank.  Remember to receive clock hours in Missouri you must have a MOPD ID#.

Join KCPT and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art for a preview of a new American Masters featuring artist Mark Rothko on Friday, Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the T. Atkins Auditorium. Rothko: Pictures Must Be Miraculous explores the life of the celebrated artist whose luminous color field paintings helped define the abstract expressionist movement, which shifted the art world epicenter from Paris to New York. View Rothko’s “Untitled No. 11, 1963” in the museum before or after the screening.
